Treatment For Fever Blisters
Has anyone used Viroxyn for fever blisters and cold sores?
I read that you can get this treatment from your dentist. It's supposed to speed healing. Has anyone tried it? Does it work?
I have tried every over the counter medicine such as abreva, herpecin..pretty much every over the counter medicine. I do like abreve, but I've been reading about this new medicine from the dentist. Has anyone tried Viroxyn?
I would recommend abreva. Its over the counter, but a bit pricey. About $15 for a very small tube, but theres a reason its expensive. It works very well and speeds up the recovery time. Everytime I get a cold sore I make sure to first take a straight razor or blade and pop it to let out the fluid, then apply the abreva a few times a day, It works much better. The quicker the fluid is released and the sore dries, the faster it heals.
