Herpes & Canker Sores?
I know canker sores and cold sores are caused by herpes virus. It a long story, but I'm being treated for a problem in one of my eyes with a herpes medication. My doctor asked me about cold sores and I said I'd had canker sores since I was a child. He kinda looked at me like I was a slut, cheating on my husband. I've had sex with one man in my entire life, and I promise you it was not when I was 7 or 8 yr old. How did I contract herpes as a child? My daugher also get canker sores. ??? Maybe a stupid question.
There are so many different types of the herpes virus it is impossible to answer that. I have had shingles twice and that is a herpes virus, have no idea how I got it but it was treated and gone. The only herpes you really need to worry about is the genital, you keep that **** forever.
