Should I have stayed at home because of my illness?

I'm a sixth former, and today I have had a really bad cold and a sore throat. Should I have stayed at home, preventing others from getting it, or was I right to battle on and go to sixth form?

I think you were right to go into work. Unless you are so ill you can't function (vomiting, high fever, etc) it's always good to go on to work and tough it out. This shows your dedication to your job.

I'm actually at work now, battling an icky upper respiratory infection.
