Large Cold Sore On Face
Is it possible to get a cold sore/fever blister on the roof of your mouth?
I was just curious. I get outbreaks on my face around my mouth every now and then, not like I did when I was younger, but anyways, I get these things on the roof of my mouth too, and they feel kind of like cold sores, but i'm not sure they are. They're like semi-large things, around the size of a cold sore and in the roof of my mouth sometimes i'll get a few of them at a time, or sometimes just one but it gets kinda puffy and when I look at it ( by holding another mirror up to my mouth ) it looks kinda like a cold sore but not really, it's the same color as the roof of my mouth. Anyways, if anyone understood this, can I get some advice plz, thx!

It may be possible, but I think what you get on the roof of your mouth may be canker sores, which are not contagious. Get Anbesol or Orajel at a pharmacy to help with the pain. There are also mouthwashes that will help - get ones without alcohol. And rinse your mouth with warm salt water several times a day - it is gross but it really will help. I've been getting cold sores for more than 50 years and I have never had one on the rood of my mouth.
