Will I contract gentile herpes?
Okay, so I get cold sores occasionally and I know that is a form of herpes. I had an outbreak in the corner of my bottom lip. I was kissing someone who does not have the virus, he then began preforming oral on me. After a few minutes I remembered my cold sore and had him stop immediately.
Will I contract gentile herpes if I was the one with the cold sore? Im just afraid the virus got onto his lips and he transferred them to my vagina. Its been about a month and I haven't had any symptoms but I'm still super nervous.
NO he would have to be the one to have a cold sore (which are caused by oral herpes), you also not likely to reinfect your self once you all ready have cold sores. Herpes doesn't last for more then a few seconds when it's away from the body so he would have to kiss you then get down there pretty quickly in order to give you cold sores on your genitals. If he didn't have a cold sore at the time then you don't have much risk of having cold sores transferred to your genitals.
