what is the best remedy for cold sores?
i was told to put alcohol swabs on the affected area to dry it up and then hopefully this huge scab would just fall off....unfortunately the huge scab seems like it's getting just bigger and I don't know what to do now.... any help please!
ok went to a MD turns out this was some bad bacteria building up through an opening of skin on the corner of my lip and it's not a cold sore...was given antibiotics called NOVO-LEXIN and cream called FUCIDIN hopefully this goes away soon! damn it's ugly big and scabby
Get on an antiviral med as soo as you feel one coming on. This will prevent the sore from even appearing. If you have one alchohol will just aggravate it. Use Abreva as often as possible, (@ the drugstores,) or take a lysine vitamin supp. everyday. This is very helpful.
