Over the Counter Treatment for Male Herpes?

I think I have got herpes. My penis was sore and I've seemed to get rid of the soreness with thrush creme. But I have ulscer like sores still on my foreskin that dont seem to be shifting...and after searching the web it looks like the only explanation is herpes. Is there any over the counter treatments in the UK that can treat the ulscers?

Don't instantly assume it's herpe's it could quite easily be thrush as it can occur any time with an imbalance of bacteria, carry on applying the thrush creme for 2 weeks and if theres no improvement see a doctor right away!

Ulcer like sores sounds like thrush too as herpes are more like blisters.

Herpes is caused by the HSV-1 and HSV-2 pathogen. The 1st usually brings about the indications of oral herpes while the second is the common cause for genital herpes.

The first display of herpes is typically the most dreadful. First herpes is generally predated by a tingling in the areas affected---the mouth or the genital area. As the illness moves forward blisters and open sores progress together with agony in the infected area and itching. Those afflicted with genital herpes may experience a burning feeling when they urinate as the pee passes over the sores. Some may be unable to do so because dreadful swelling of the sores may block the urethra.

Symptoms of dreadful cases of first herpes include distended, tender lymph nodes in the groin, throat and under the arms, headache along with fever and chills and flu-like symptoms like painful joints and general run-down feeling.

Along with medication to shorten the attack of the pathogen, over the counter herpes treatment is generally commended to address other symptoms. Over the counter medicines like aspirin, acetaminophen ( Tylenol, Datril, or Panadol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Medipren, Motrin, Nuprin) can be employed to bring fever down and cut back the agony and love caused by the herpes outbreak.

Topical ointments may also accelerate the appearance of the sores that appear when the pathogen attacks. Over the counter ointments include Dynamiclear that has been shown to reduce symptoms and healing duration of the herpes sores. Tea tree oil and aloe vera are herbal cures which have been shown to have topical anti-viral activity as well as help in the healing of the sores and stop recurrences of the outbreak of the symptoms.

Taking vitamin supplements has also proven to be useful in treating herpes symptoms. Additions containing vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E and zinc may significantly help in the hastening of the disappearance of the indications of the disease as well as build up immunity in order to stop and prevent recurrences.
