how to make canker sores go away fast?
ook so school starts tomorrow and i have one that just keeps getting bigger and bigger, i think it got worse last night since i threw up from something i ate or i dunno why but it just hurt alot after. i wanna know some home remedies to make a cold sore go away realllllyy fast like in a day or two since i have had this one for a week or so and it hurts like helllllll....i have tried orajel cream and orajel dissolvable patches things but they dont work plus i hardly know how to use them and they are uncomfterable. please help if you know any ways HOME REMEDIES that really work well./ also i was wondering if its normal that i get so many since i get them about once or twice a month and they arnt small ones they are big ones that hurt alot.
You're talking about those little white ulcers inside your mouth? Best home remedy I know of is hydrogen peroxide. Get a bottle for 89 cents and pour it directly onto the sore as best you can, and let it bubble. It has something to do with getting oxygen to the sore, and don't worry, it doesn't hurt. DO NOT SWALLOW any of the peroxide, as it will make you gag. Do this several times and the sores should be gone in a day or two.
Best prevention I know is to keep your mouth immaculately clean -- if these sores aren't caused by herpes or stress or something "internal" then they can also be caused by little particles of food trying to dissolve against your cheek and gumline. I used to get them fairly often, but I almost never see one anymore.
