question about cold sore healing stage, please anyone help me!?
Hi im 17 years old and now im recently over my cold sore stage, i only have one problem im in the healing stage of my cold sore and there is a pink spot on my lower right lip and surrounding it is what looks like my healed epidermis, i was wondering how long will this pink spot go away? its been almost 2 weeks since i had this cold sore and i have a big big event to attend this week and i dont want to walk around with a pink spot on my lip.
when i read sites like abreva etc it says its common to have a pink spot during the final healing days of your cold sore, i was wondering and asking to anyone whose had a cold sore how long did the pink spot go away?
thanks lindsey but i have a few more questions, do you think its scarring? i seriously hope not im putting cocoa butter on my lips now just in case
The pink spot does go away usually it takes a few more days. As for healing time it depends on how strong your immune system is. Use some cold sore cream and that should help make it go away.
