How To Cure A Cold Sore

How do I cure my cold/sore throat?
What started as a fever/runny nose/muscle aches ended up as a sore throat and eventually all of the mentioned.
I've been sick since last Wednesday which makes today Day 6.
I really need to rid this cold because I have a TEST TOMORROW and an EXAM THURSDAY.
Things have been slowly getting better. I've been drinking lots of fluids and have been avoiding tylonol for I've heard its better to take it when most serious.
Is there anything else I can do? or that you can recommend? It's really hard for me to keep my mind focused on my because I constantly have to clear my sinus'
Thanks!
Well first off, you cannot cure your cold but you can make yourself feel a whole lot better for your test and your exam.
Gargle with TCP antiseptic mouthwash to kill off bacteria in your throat. Suck antiseptic lozenges throughout the day.
Get yourself a bottle of Olbas from a health store and add a few drops to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head and the bowl and breathe in the Olbas. As you feel the Olbas dissipating, add a few more drops and continue.
This should clear your sinuses nicely and make you feel much better.
Take paracetamol as advised on the container and continue to drink a lot - hot fluids for your throat and take vitamin C - large amounts of it but make sure it is the coated type so that you don't burn your tummy with the citric acid.
