Common Cold Sore Tongue
This morning I woke up with some blood in my mouth. Is this serious?
So I've had a mild cough, congestion, and a slight soreness on the upper left hand side of my ribcage and an extremely sore throat. I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that I have a "supercold", a new and more severe strain of the common cold. This morning I woke up and my throat was sore as usual and then when I brushed my teeth and spit, there was blood in the spit. So, I looked in the mirror at my mouth and the whole back of my tongue was covered in blood, and it still is. What is wrong with me and do I need to go see the doctor?
See a doctor ASAP, Pure blood especially when associated with pain in the rib cage could indicate a blood clot. Super cold can turn into pneumonia, do not take a chance with this.
Common Reasons Of Diarrhea And Tongue Burn
There is nothing else that can ruin one’s day worse than a diarrhea. It happens when a person has an uncontrollable, watery bowel movement. Besides that, medications like diuretics, oral diabetes medications and some blood pressure medications as well as various medicines can be the cause. Tobacco use also is also the cause of a sore and burning tongue. The worst symptoms could be indicative of oral cancer.
To prevent burning tongue, it is better to avoiding eating acidic foods, stop using alcohol and tobacco, sipping water, sucking ice, chewing sugarless gum and brushing the tongue with baking soda and water.
Too much red pepper intake can give a burning sensation and diarrhea. Pepper contains capsaicin and when it is eaten, capsaicin is not easily digested and it resists digestive enzymes and therefore remains intact. It makes a burning feeling. It can lead to diarrhea. The funny thing about diarrhea is that at times it just happens without any reason and when it does. One has to call it a day off.
