Kissing/Sex With Cold Sores?
Ok so if 50% of the American population or whatever have recurring cold sores and it is said that you can still transfer the virus while not having an active sore how do people have sex or kiss safely? Or is it actually very low risk when not having an active sore?
Ok and say I have a cold sore in the back of my mouth on my gum where my partner wouldnt reach with his tongue. Would it be ok to kiss since it wouldn't be direct contact or is it better to wait till it completely clears up?
If it's in your mouth, it's not a cold sore but a canker sore and those are not caused by herpes.
Don't have oral sex with it though because it's an open sore and could be an entry area or bacteria or viruses.
