Any good tips to get rid of a cold sore in my mouth?
i don't remember when it happened, but apparently i bit the inside of my lip, and now it hurts like HELL.i can hardly talk, and i look like an idiot when i eat.
im using that hot salt water remedy, but its not really working.im been using it for 4 days, and it hasn't gotten any better.
oh, and is it supposed to sting really bad when i use the salt water?

it's called a canker sore not a cold sore, cold sores are from herpes.
anyway...besides salt water you can try baking soda water, but I don't know what else. If you're using a lot of salt I would imagine it would sting, especially if the sore has opened at all.
