What's a good way to heal a cold sore with out using any meds?
I have a really annoying cold sore in the back part of my mouth on my gum. It hurts everytime I eat. A while back my sister used up all the abreva or what ever that cream is called. What's the best way to heal a cold sore with out buying anything?
I'm confused if it is in your mouth or on your lip because Abreva is not supposed to go inside of your mouth. If it is on the inside gargle with warm salt water quite a few times a day and if it is on the outside of your mouth try your hardest to dry it up and let it scab and try really hard to keep your tongue off it. Also breaking a vitamin e tablet on it will help it heal properly and not make a scar if its a really bad one. I used to take a pill called l-lyson when i was younger and I stopped breaking out. Now i keep my lips moist all the time with lipstick or chap stick and I have not had one in a very long time!
