Cold Sore Up The Nose
Why is the inside of my nose sore?
About two days ago, the top of the inside of my left nostril started to feel sore. There seemed to be a crusty build of of "boogers" up there too. I blow them out and they build back up several hours later. It's been about 3 days and it still feel sore and i'm still getting build up. Now it feels like it's moving to the other nostril and there is very small traces of blood when I blow my nose.
When I woke up today, my head started to feel like it feels when I'm starting to get a cold and my tonsils feel slightly swollen as well.
Obviously there is something going on. My question is if anyone knows what it is and if there is something I can buy for it, or if it's serious and should see a doctor. I'm not in pain or anything. It's just slightly sore.
I get that problem every winter when my nose gets too dry and cracks. It's just a simple sore and the best thing to do is to rub some Neo-Sporin in it before bed and several times during the day to keep it moist and promote healing. The glands are swollen do to the bodys attempt to fight any infections. The nose is a very easily infected spot.

Is your nose running also? It could be irritated from an allergy which is causing the wound.
