Cold Sore Stages Treatment
I have lung cancer, stage iv, and now have a cold sore inside my nose. Just how serious is this?
Two days ago inside my nose became a little sensitive. Yesterday a cold sore appeared under my nose, between my nose and lip, and I am pretty sure the sore inside my nose is the herpes virus that causes cold sores. Also a sore developed on my gum today. I am scheduled for another chemo treatment next Thur, Oct 29th and will probably start radiation within a week. Is it okay to wait until Monday to see the doctor, or do I need to phone them Saturday/tomorrow?
peacelov, I asked a question about cancer NOT about your religious beliefs. It is exceedingly Rude to preach at people who do not ask you to preach. I'm sure you are happy with your belief system and I am happy with mine, so keep your religious opinons to yourself. Now, do you have an answer that has to do with cancer or are you just trolling the cancer questions?

I am so sorry. My dad also had herpes sores during cancer treatment. I remember it goin away quickly with an anti biotic. I would not wait beyond monday because the sooner u get medicine the sooner u get relief. If u can get the dr to phone in an anti biotic today that would work but i don't see the need to spend hours and possibly a fortune in Er that would likely be more aggravation then the sore
I agree with u bout the preaching and even though I myself am spritually lost I will send a prayer for ur recovery to whoever in the the netherworld will listen to me
