Cold Sore Pictures In Children
i think i have had herpes since i was a child...?
I was searching around some old pictures and found some of me at various ages, there was one that was when i was 7 years old and i what looked like a cold sore on my lip, others weer around my lip, there was also another one...i think this is the youngest picture of me and i had them all around my mouth about 4 outbreaks maybe more or less they could have been connected. I also found pictures of my sister who also looked like she had the outbreaks, i mean she has down syndrome and had an outbreak on her lip..well it was more of in between her lip and nose. When i developed shingles i became very worried and stuff, my mom said she had it on her...vagina...at that point i got scared, did we get it from her, will i genital herpes i the future...is it possible for a parent to give it to their children?
It is possible for a child to get HSV1 (oral herpes) from adults kissing them. Most Americans have HSV1, and they get it when they are children. By the time they become adults their immune system suppresses it and its no big deal. However some still break out with it routinely. During outbreaks, adults should definitely avoid kissing children.
