Cold Sore On Gums
does this sound like a cold sore?
about 3 yrs ago i got this bad kanker sore on the inside of my lower lip and it stung alot and my gums got real sore and tender for about a week. i got this cream that got rid of the sore along in about a week. idk if this was a cold sore or not. and now i got what looks like a couple of pimples at the corners of my mouth where the top and bottom lip edges meet.
i've never gotten the kanker sore or the sore and tender gums ever again. but the pimples thing just happend recently. puberty a cause?
i've never had that (god awful) canker sore ever again(owned) and i only get the sore gums unless i ever eat 2 or 3 bags(small ones) of sour skittles.
If it was on the inside of your mouth then it could be just a canker sore which are not related to cold sores.
Cold sores usually come with some itching, burning and or tingling symptoms around the time of an out break. If the pimples came with any of those symptoms it could be cold sores or fever blisters.
They are nothing to worry over, they are how ever contagious during an out break. Don't kiss or give any one oral sex while you have the pimples to be on the safe side.
