How to get rid of a cold sore?
All in one night...i got 3 cold sores on my bottom lip! Im using some bliztex ointment right now. Is there anything else to help get rid of them all faster??
The cold sore is on my lip. Not in my mouth.
This is an easy, cheap and my personal favorite:
Take a regular tea bag, soak it in cool water till its soft and apply to the sores. Hold it in place for ten minutes or so...repeat several times a day. The tannic acid will alleviate the sting and help heal the sores.
Also...if you EVER get burned...use the same technique. I have healed many kitchen burns with cheapo tea bags. (I don't drink cheap tea, but it's a great remedy for burns and cold sores!)
