Cold Sore Not Herpes
can i catch a cold sore/herpes from getting kissed on the neck?
my partner has a coldsore on his bottom lip. he kissed me on my neck and cheek, and i kissed him on his. did i catch it? it happened a few days ago, and i do not feel itching, burning, etc.
That is not likely to happen. If he kissed you on or around the mouth while he has a cold sore then you would be more likely to get it. It's rare to get herpes away from the mouth or genitals.
