Cold Sore Nail Varnish Remover
cold sore- used ice and nail varnish remover- left a bruise and now dry red scaly skin- what do i do now?
Hiya, i had a coldsore starting up and read tips to get rid of it quickly- applying nail varnish remover and ice to dry it out and the cold to make the virus retreat. its worked really well and the small clear blisters never turned into a full scale coldsore scab, however i dont know if ive done it too much but it started to look very bruised around the area and now is red and really dry/scaly, peeling slightly. do i carry on with ice etc or moisturise it now? is it still a cold sore? im 9 months pregnant and so am hoping it will all completely dissapear by the time my baby makes her appearance so need help quick!!
I suggest you go to a doctor, or a get a coldsore cream, even though it would go slower. I wouldn't risk making it worse.
If I were you, I would search ''nail varnish remover ice coldsore cure''. Do a bit of research..not too much lol..then to see if someone's just given you crap so that you coldsore's gone worse. It can even give you more details there.
