Cold Sore Mouth Contagious
chapped lips or cold sore?
a few days ago i had really bad chapped lips, that night im ashamed to say drooled in my sleep and it dried on the side of my mouth. the next morning i awoke, yawned and felt a kind of tear on that side of my mouth. it hurt. now 3 days later its still three tiny tiny slits in the corner of my mouth. there are a few white dots underneath the area, which im sure ive noticed before. but am afraid its a cold sore. ive never had one before and it doesnt really look like any of the pictures i cold find of cold sores herpes or any other std but obviosly am paraniod. i only have one sexual partner and havent been in contact with anyone at all. and im always washing my hands. could it be just torn in a delicate area and taking a second to heal? ive been putting hydrogen peroxide on it, and its the only one.
