Cold Sore Medicine Prescription
Choice of coldsore medicine?
Thankyou for those who helped. I just need help on deciding on which brand of coldsore ointment to get. I want a FAST, EFFECTIVE and one that will also moisten my lips becuase my coldsore tends to get dry.
PLEASE don't tell me to get anything other than one of those lip ointments listed becuase either I can't afford to have time to get a prescription or my mom is too cheap to buy abreva. =|
1)Lipactin.
2) Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment
or
3) Zilactin
Please note that my coldsore is very very minor. It's fairly small, like maybe 3 blisters on an area. It's not very noticable.
and my lips get VERY Dried if I go without somekind of liquid on my lip weather it's chap stick of lipgloss =| But is it bad to moinsten your cold sore?
Or should I try and buy 2 different medications and then use them both like one ointment in the morning, the other at night?
Or what about Lysine? does that work?
I have experience with coldsores, and I always turn to Carmex. It dries it up really quickly and effectively.
