Cold Sore Lysine Zinc
Reaction to zinc or lysine?
Ok so I have like this rash or break out or infection or something, on the sides of my mouth and chin. At first I thought it was an acne break out or something but now it's evident that it's not. my face is becoming swollen, its very uncomfortable.
I have been taking zinc and lysine for cold sores the past few days and I think it could be the cause? I tried to go to the clinic earlier but its Sunday and none are open.
Any thoughts on what it could be?
its not very likely that your are allergic to the zinc or lysine, but it could be an allergies to the delivery system? like the pills maybe??
If you have a bunch of fluid filled bumps on your face...it could be a "shingles" outbreak? keep taking the lysine...if the bumps get near your eyes go to the Emergency room..as shingles can cause blindness.
