Cold Sore Is Not Herpes

Wondering if this was a cold sore (herpes).?
I found a little bump just above my upper lip and I wanted to know if it was a cold sore.
Its very small and it's just a little bump and doesn't look like a cold sore.
I'm 13 and I don't know if we drool or not when we're infected but I've never drooled. I've also seen that when the bumps appear that your lip starts to swell, but that hasn't happened to me before or after this bump.
I show no redness in my lips either.
So I need to know if this is a cold sore.
But I have a bump inside my lower lip that's white and I've seen pictures of people infected with herpes that have that bump inside the lip. But since I haven't shown any symptoms I thought it was something else? If so what is is?
If someone does have herpes is it possible that they don't have an outbreak?
If needed I can show you a picture.
Thanks!
No there is usually no drooling when you have a cold sore. Some times people drool in their sleep (I do that some times). Usually there is some itching, burning or tingling symptoms when you have either fever blisters or cold sores (which are usually caused by oral herpes) and some times there is swelling. It's not common to have cold sores on the inside of your mouth.
It could be a canker sore (which is not herpes). Canker sores are usually white raised sores that happen on the inside of the mouth usually on the cheeks or soft pallet. They itch a little bit but they don't usually cause a lot of pain.
See your doctor, they can test you for oral herpes.

It is best to keep away from salty and acidic foods during cold sore outbreaks. Oral herpes symptoms can intensify and can add more to the discomfort caused by the blisters if you take citrus fruits and foods that contain high salt and acid level.

Another way to slow down the metabolism of the virus most especially in the initial stage as well as to impede severe outbreak and can also numb the area that will reduce the pain and itching is by means of applying ice to the affected area. Teabags are also considered to be an effective home remedy for fever blisters due to the tannic acid content in tea that has strong antiviral properties.
Herbs like aloe Vera, tea tree oil, witch hazel and sage have been found out to cure cold sore fast. It also hastens the healing process of this condition. Take note that these herbs will only work best when used properly and with care.
