Cold Sore In Nose Remedy
I lose my voice (laryngitis) every October - what causes this?
I live in Dallas, Texas and every fall I get a cold - runny nose, sore throat, cough, a little achey, the glands in my neck feel swollen, and then I lose my voice for 5 days. Home remedies like tea, resting my voice, lemon and honey, dont work. What causes this and what should I do?
There are many causes of loosing the voice or laryngitis. The most common ones are viruses (sounds like what yours is), allergies (possible), Gastroesophageal reflux, sometimes post nasal discharge from a sinus infection, vocal abuse (yelling), vocal cord polyps, or even lesions on the vocal cords (cancers, granulomas...etc).
