Cold Sore Healing Stage Contagious
contagious cold sore?
i kissed someone today that had a cold sore, it was scabbed and healing. i have never had a cold sore and am wondering if they are very contagious in the scabbed stage. any information would be helpful. ive read various health sites and its all different information. thanks.
my main question is if they are still highly contagious in the scabbed stage rather than the open sore stage.
I see many say it's still contagious at that stage, or even if a cold sore isn't present at all. I beg to differ. I've been married for over 20 years and my husband nor my children have ever had one. However, I don't kiss them until it's in the healing stage.
