Cold Sore Hand Sanitizer
Cold sore, hand sanitizer?
Yesterday I started getting sick with like a cold or something.
Anyway, so I went to bed and my lip started tingling like a cold sore, so like 4 times before I went to bed, I put on hand sanitizer onto it because I've heard that can stop them being so bad.
The area I was putting it on sort of swelled up, but I went to sleep and it was fine.
Tonight it started tingling again so I've put on hand sanitizer a few more times now and its swollen abit again.
Anyways, will the hand sanitizer stop it developing or just postpone it?
How often do I need to put it on? I was thinking every 15 minutes?
Anything else?
I've never heard of using hand sanitizer for a cold sore. Go to the pharamacy and ask the pharmacist for an over the counter medication. They run about $15-$20.
