Cold Sore Exposure
Anyone else get cold sores?
I recently got the virus from my boyfriend so im new to all of this. What are some good drugs to help with it? I had a horrible first exposure to it it gets better right?
Yes and I hate them. Unfortunately, once you start getting them, you carry the virus from there on out. It lies dormant in your cheek on a nerve. Sometimes stress or even being out in the sun too long can bring them on. I use Zovirax. You can get in pill form or a tube of ointment. I haven't tried the ointment yet, but I hear it works a lot faster at getting rid of the blisters than the pills do.
