"I Cant Turn or Tilt My Head To The Right!"?
I Woke Up This Morning With The Right Side Of My Neck Stiff And Aching
I Think I Might Have Pulled Something
I Can Barely Move My Neck
( To The Right At least )
The Muscle Is So Sore
If I Wanna Look To The Right I Have To Turn Around And Look Over My Left Shoulder
Thats How Bad It Is
I Tryed Using A Warm Water Bottle ( Electric)
It Didnt Help Much
And A Cold Compress
Ouch, All It Did Was Give Me Brain Freeze
PLEASE HELP
It's possible you have the same pulled muscle I do right now! I had problems with my left side though, not my right. I went to my doctor after I woke up one morning with a stiff neck. It gradually got worse and worse over the following 24 hours and then started feeling better after a full two weeks. After those two weeks were up I noticed my neck wasn't fully recovered! I still had a dull (but rather annoying) aching pain in my neck and shoulder. I finally went to the doctor. He did some stretches with me to make sure it wasn't a slipped disk or a pinched nerve and quickly diagnosed me with a "pulled trapezius". He told me that with some stretches done daily and some doses of an anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen, naproxen... etc.) things should get better. Unfortunately for me, they didn't. I'm going on 6 months now and my neck still aches! I've tried heat compresses, warm soaking baths, massage, stretching and anti-inflammatory pills, but the pain always comes back. I think in my situation, I must be sleeping in a bad position with my neck. I need to go back to the doctor to finally fix this problem! SO, my recommendation to YOU would be go see your doctor if the pain doesn't completely go away after about a week. If it's a simple pulled muscle it will go away within a few days. If it's a pulled muscle because of the way you're sleeping or if it's something WORSE than a pulled muscle, you'll want to get that figured out as soon as possible! In the meantime, a warm soaking bath and an anti-inflammatory (combined with lots of rest and relaxing the neck) really does help it to feel better... even if only temporarily!

Good luck to you and I hope you're feeling well again soon! Take care!
Chronic Back Pain vs Acute Back Pain- What's the Difference?
What is chronic back pain? How does it differ from acute back pain? Are the treatments for acute different from chronic? Bad backs affect a majority of Americans. Second only to the common cold. Back problems are the leading cause of work related injuries.
We spend nearly 50 billion a year on treatments for back pain. Usually most of these back problems take care of themselves. With a little rest an over the counter medication and application of a cold pack most of us are back on our feet. This type of back condition is called "acute". The pain and discomfort is real, but the duration is short.
Chronic back pain is when the pain persists for longer than three months, which was the case with me. Chronic pain usually indicates a more severe problem than just a sore muscle. If left untreated permanent damage can result. Many times the source of chronic pain may be difficult to determine and treat. Some of the more common treatments are, physical therapy, surgery and or electrical stimulation and many times as in my case all three. Some people even after all these treatments and in many cases multiple treatments still have the pain and live with their pain for months, even years.
I believe the problem is most treatments even physical therapy doesn't get at the "root cause" of the problem. In other words something is present that is causing the pain to return despite all the money, time and treatments. Many times this root cause is muscle imbalance. When one set of muscles are stronger than another and is pulling your spine out of alignment and putting undue stress on disc and nerves.
The solution then is to find a program or solution that will correct this muscle imbalance. One of the top rated programs is The Lose The Back Pain System developed by The Healthy Back Institute. This program has helped thousands to lose their back pain for good. The Lose The Back Pain System custom designs a program of specific movements and exercises tailored to your exact needs.
