Cold Sore Children Treatment
8 MO. Old Infant with cold, any recommendations for treatment?
My 8 month old son has come down with a cold, which i believe he cought from me and has me feeling horrible. If i feel this bad, i can only imagine how horrible he feels. I saw all the stuff on the news about not giving young children OTC cold medecine and how it's lead to many infant deaths. Are there any recommendations of what i could do to alliveate some of his painful symptoms. I gave him tylenol for his sore throat and fever, as well as infant decongestant nose drops to clear his clogged nose, but any other suggestions are welcomed! Thank you!
Run a humidifier in the room where he is. If you don't have a humidifier, you can boil a big pot of water on your stove. Vicks Vaporub will help clear his head up also. And lots of hugs and TLC from Momma!
