Cold Sore By Eye
What's wrong with my eye?
I woke up this morning and my eyelids on only one eye were pretty much stuck together with this crusty substance. After getting them seperated and putting water on them, that eye was a little red but seemingly fine.
Although several hours later, I noticed that there was a lot of discharge in the corner of the eye I explained earlier. Now, my eye is wattery, red, and there is still discharge. Not to mention that my sight is a little blurry in the same eye.
Oh, by the way I have a cold : just an average cold (sore throat, congested nose, etc.)
So, my question is, what is wrong with my eye? And how can I treat it so that it will go away?

I also put eye drops in the affected eye and it hurts a little when I blink.
From what I can tell you're having an allergic reaction. Google is really useful for figuring this stuff out. Just type in your symptoms and search for them. If one eye is red then it's probably Pink Eye. If that's the case I'd go see your doctor.
