pneumonia or the cold?
I work in a group home, i recently started working at a different site. At this site, the supervisor has the air conditioner on all day even when its cold or raining outside. She is a larger women and i am very small. 5' 7" and 114 pounds. After about 4 days of working in that house and freezing the entire shift, I developed a cold. Its worse than the colds i would regularly get. One of the clients we take care of has developed pneumonia, 2 days prior to me getting sick. The doctors office our company prefers us to go to doesnt open until tomorrow. I have very sore throat, mucus, cough, head ache, fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, runny nose majority of the time, stuffy nose at night, no temperature ( 98.0) And cold medicines are doing nothing for me at all. Can anyone tell me if i just have the cold or if i have pneumonia?
My mom had a similar experience like this. My mom works with mostly larger women, so they get hot easily. Anyway, it may be strep throat, or pneumonia.
My mom went to the doctor, got some medication, and she was so much better in just one day!
So, please go to the doctor!
